Overview
Deep Into Space is a space exploration app built by ROIDS Software (Marija Gvozdenovic). This policy explains what information is collected and how it is used. We keep it simple: we do not sell your data, we do not collect personal information, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
Information We Collect
We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics, provided by Google, to understand how the app is used and to diagnose crashes. These services may collect:
- App usage events (which screens are opened, how often)
- Device type, operating system version, and app version
- Crash reports and diagnostic data
- A randomly generated installation identifier (not linked to your identity)
This data is anonymous and aggregated. It is never linked to your name, email address, or any other personally identifying information.
NASA API
Deep Into Space fetches publicly available space imagery and data from NASA's open APIs. Your device communicates directly with NASA's servers to retrieve this content. No personal information is included in these requests.
Data Storage
The app stores your preferences (such as whether you have seen the onboarding screen and any saved favourites) locally on your device using standard iOS storage. This data never leaves your device except as part of your own iCloud backups.

Children
Deep Into Space does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. The app contains no advertising, no in-app purchases, and no social features.

Since we do not collect personal information, there is nothing to access, correct, or delete. If you have questions about Firebase's data practices, please refer to Google's privacy policy linked above.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
